If you cannot control the background noise and want to record videos, this is brilliant. The website features Zoom meetings, but it works equally as well for recording videos. On their homepage, do the barking dog test. I've tested this on a Livestream and it is as good as they advertise.

RODE Wireless ME
I use these in the studio and in the field. Just so impressed with what I can achieve. The USB rechargeable battery seems to go half the day. I use the inbuilt mic a lot. Very convenient.
RODE FlexClip GO
3 clips - Magnet|Pin|Hem - that attach beautifully to your RODE Wireless GO. Now you can easily attach the microphone to problematic clothes like T-Shirts and blouses. Seriously, this is such a time saver.
RODE Interview GO
The simplicity makes this work. The RODE Wireless ME microphone simply slides onto the handle. Pop on the foam wind baffle and now you can have many people in the shot and interview them or pass the microphone around. Simple. Convenient. fast. I LOVE this.
Turn your smartphone into a DSLR camera
I use both these apps everyday.
Filmic Pro
This iOS and Android app lets me manually control my smartphone with the precision of a high-end expensive DSLR camera BUT that's not what I use it for. I use it to see that I am correctly recording pictures and sound and that gives me peace of mind I'm not going to have costly retakes.
Filmic DoubleTake
This great app lets you select any two of the cameras you have on your smartphone and record them at the same time in high quality. Super useful.

CapCut
Hands down the best FREE video editing software I use. Prepared to be blown away by what you can do.
Camtasia

SSD Drive
An SSD Drive is a Solid State Drive. It has no moving parts and makes editing so much faster. They cost more but are a worthy investment if you are planning to edit your own videos. This will save you time.
