How Can a Motivational Keynote Speaker Get The Audience's Attention?

Something I learned from doing 2000 kids and family magic shows is that if you want to get the attention of the audience

1. lower your voice and say ...' I want to let you in on a secret...'

People never want to miss out on a secret.

2. 'my father told me this, his father told him and his father before that....'

This works for adult audiences as well as it does for children's audiences. Why? Because we are hungry for wisdom. We all want to know something that is going to make our lives less painful.
