How To Build Trust With Remote Teams As A Speaker

keynote speaker motivational speaker

People lie.

Everyone says they are fine being on camera on remote calls. But they're not.

Many people are scared of being on camera.

I know this because I have coached hundreds of professionals and leaders who say the same they are comfortable being on video and I ask to see some examples and about one in 10 can show me one.

The problem is we all feel like we are the only one so we all NEVER TALK ABOUT IT.

Lead by example. If you are uncomfortable with video, say it. Then say but this is the new normal. Then say you personally are treating it as a skill to learn and master.

Invite others to join with you. Take it slow. Make it safe. You'll soon have great communication with remote teams.
