Should a Motivational Keynote Speaker Smile?

keynote speaker motivational speaker

Hands down, the simplest way to build rapport is to smile.

That might sound overly simple.

Strangely, it's not.

I thought I was smiling all the time because I felt happy but then I watched videos of my talk.

Arghhhhh!

I looked so unhappy.

So I taught myself to smile. I became conscious of the muscles in my face.

I never would have considered this to be important or useful.

I now use my smile muscles to trigger my performing state. To take me from down and inward to up and outward.
