Video Light Choices For Motivational Speakers

Natural light is great. It's FREE. It works brilliantly if it is consistent. A sunny cloudless day. YAY! A grey foggy day. YAY! A sunny day with moving clouds. BOO! Right when you least want it, the sun will go behind a cloud and the light in your shot starts going up and down. BIG PROBLEM. Distractions dilute your message so you have a less effective video.

Artificial light is great. It is so cheap these days. LED lights only emit a fraction of the heat of older-style tungsten/halogen lights. So you can draw the curtains, use some LED lights and record uninterrupted. If you can attach some will wall brackets then you won't have to trip over them or pack them away.
